MARINATED BEEF KABOBS1 ½-2 Lbs. sirloin steak ½ cup salad oil 2 tbsp. lemon juice ¼ c chopped onion 1 tsp. Dry mustard ½ tsp. Garlic salt ½ tsp. Salt 1/8 tsp. Pepper 2 small tomatoes 1 medium green pepper 3 small cooked onions Remove bone and cut steak into 16 pieces approximately two inches square. Mix together salad oil, lemon juice, onion, mustard, garlic salt, salt & pepper. Add meat and allow to stand several hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Drain. Cut each tomato into four wedges. Cut green pepper into 8 squares. Thread each of four 12-inch skewers with meat, tomato, green pepper & onion. Brush with remaining marinade. Place kebobs on rack in grill. Grill 3 inches from the heat for 10-12 minutes or until browned. Turn. Brush with remaining marinade. Cook second side 8-10 minutes until browned. Serves 4. |
