GLAZED CARROTS4 large carrots (1 lb.) 3 tbsp. Packed brown sugar 2 tbsp. Margarine 1 tbsp. Water ½ tsp. Salt 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon Cut carrots into long thin strips. Combine brown sugar, margarine, water, salt & cinnamon in 1 ½ quart casserole. Microwave on high (100%) until margarine is melted. (about 1 ½ min.). Stir to blend. Stir in carrots until coated. Cover and microwave on high – 5 to 8 minutes, stirring twice until tender. |
