COMPANY PORK CHOPS3 Tbsp. Shortening 2 tsp. Prepared mustard 6 pork chops 1 beef bouillon cube, Salt & Pepper in 1 cup water 1 large onion, chopped 1 tbsp. Flour 2 tbsp. Hamburger relish or sweet relish Heat 2 Tbsp. Shortening in skillet; then add chops and brown well, sprinkling with a little salt and pepper; remove chops. Add remaining shortening in skillet and then onion and cook for a few minutes. Stir in flour and mustard. Then add relish and bouillon; add pork chops to sauce. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes, or until chops are fork tender. |
