CHOCOLATE MINT DESSERTButtered 13x9”pan – 350 degrees – About 35 minutes CAKE LAYER: 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar ½ cup soft butter 4 eggs 1 16oz. Can Hershey’s Syrup Combine in large mixing bowl and beat till smooth. Pour into pan. Bake. Cool completely in pan. Spread Mint Filling over top. Cover and chill.
MINT FILLING: 2 C. powdered sugar ½ cup soft butter 1 T. water ¾ tsp. Mint extract 3 drops green color Combine and beat till smooth.
CHOCOLATE TOPPING: 6 Tbsp. Butter 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips In small saucepan over low heat, melt above. Stir till smooth. Cool slightly. Pour over top of chilled dessert. Chill again at least one hour before cutting. |
