CHOCOLATE MAYONNAISE CAKE2 cups flour 1 tsp. Soda 1 cup sugar 1 cup mayonnaise 4 Tbsp. Cocoa 1 cup cold water 1 tsp. Baking powder 1 tsp. Vanilla Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and soda. Add mayonnaise, cold water and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. 11x7”pan or 2 9” layer pans. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes.
QUICK COCOA FROSTING½ cup margarine 2 cups sugar 3 Tbsp. Cocoa ½ cup milk Cream margarine, sugar and cocoa in a saucepan. Add milk and bring mixture to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and beat until icing begins to thicken. |
