CARROTS ELEGANTE1 lb. Carrots, thinly 1 tsp. Lemon juice sliced ¼ tsp. Ground ginger ¼ cup golden raisins ¼ cup sliced almonds ¼ cup margarine 3 tbsp. Honey Cook carrots, covered in ½-inch boiling water 8 minutes. Drain. Turn carrots into a 1/quart baking dish. Stir in raisins, margarine, honey, lemon juice and ginger. Bake uncovered in a preheated 375 F. oven 35 minutes; stir occasionally. Spoon into serving bowl. Sprinkle with almonds. 4 Servings. |
